The bitter cold didn't stop some people from criminal activity overnight.
Around 12:30 AM Sunday, a woman at the Lakes Apartments in south Tulsa got a knock on the door. When she opened it, a woman with a handgun hit her in the head.
The suspect stole the woman's purse and ran off. The victim will be okay.
Less than an hour later, a woman knocked on the door of an apartment at 93rd and Memorial. She claimed she needed help, and the residents let her in. The woman used their phone, left, and then came back with two men armed with guns.
The residents managed to keep them out of the apartment and the suspects ran off.
