SULPHUR, Okla. (AP) -- School is canceled for Wednesday in the Sulphur school district because of an early morning bomb threat.
City officials say several notes were found taped to school doors about 6 AM Wednesday and threatened all buildings on the Sulphur school campus.
School officials canceled classes for the day and several local and state police agencies are searching the buildings.
Sulphur Mayor Mike Crews says he believes the threat is a hoax but must be taken seriously until all buildings are cleared.
The school district in south-central Oklahoma has about 1,200 students
