The cause of an early Tuesday morning house fire north of Oologah remains under investigation.

It happened just after 3 AM Tuesday. A passing truck driver traveling on nearby U.S. Highway 169 first noticed the fire and reported it to authorities.

Soon after, an Oologah Police officer found the exact location and helped direct firefighters to the scene.

Three separate fire departments ended up working the fire. In the end, half of the house was heavily damaged.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.
