Despite an overnight standoff, Tulsa Police are still searching for three robbery suspects.
This all started around 8 PM Sunday with the armed robbery of the EZ Stop on North Osage. The convenience store attendant recognized one of the three men and said he knew where he was.
Tulsa Police dogs tracked the scent to the back yard of a house near 1400 North Nogales. They found items related to the robbery in the back yard.
Police surrounded the house while waiting on a warrant. The SWAT team was called in around midnight. They gave commands in both English and Spanish with no response. They fired tear gas into the house just after 2:30 AM Monday. When they went inside, they didn't find anyone.
Tulsa Police had to close Pine Street at the Tisdale Expressway during the standoff. They are still investigating.
