RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) An Arkansas Tech chemistry teacher has been suspended after his arrest on a felony charge of Internet stalking.
Thirty-two-year-old Albert Snow -- an assistant professor – was arrested following a month-long sting operation designed to catch Internet predators. Police say Snow is accused of setting up a meeting with a teenage girl "for the purpose of engaging in sexually explicit conduct."
An undercover police officer posing as a 15-year-old girl "chatted" online with Snow several weeks before the meeting was arranged. Police say online conversations took place on the Tech campus and at the man's home.
Tech officials say Snow has been suspended and barred from the campus until further notice.
