Tulsa Police are investigating an early Friday morning hit and run accident.

Police say two women and a small child were westbound on I-244 about 12:30 AM Friday in a Jeep SUV. Officers say a dark colored pickup bumped the Jeep, causing its driver to lose control and hit a barrier.

After causing the accident, the driver of the pickup took the 1st Street exit and disappeared downtown. No one was seriously hurt. Authorities are still searching for the driver of the pickup.

About the same time, Tulsa Police made a DUI arrest downtown after seeing an impaired driver leaving a club near 1st and Elgin.

Tulsa Police warn they will continue to look actively for drunk drivers this holiday weekend.
