A Tulsa cab driver is recovering following a knife attack overnight.

Tulsa Police say it happened about 2 AM Friday near the Sheridan exit on the Broken Arrow Expressway. A customer riding in the cab suddenly decided to rob the driver. He pulled a knife and proceeded to cut the driver's hand.

The victim and a friend also riding in the van were able to subdue the suspect until officers arrived and he was quickly arrested.

The cab driver's injury is not considered serious.
