DENTON, Texas (AP) _ Former Oklahoma running back David Rolle as died.

Rolle died Sunday in Denton, Texas, at the age of 69.

After growing up in Poteau, Rolle lettered at Oklahoma for three years in the late 1950s. He was a part of the Sooners' record 47-game winning streak and two national championships.

Rolle played for one year in the AFL with the Denver Broncos.
