TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board will consider clemency Wednesday for a man convicted of killing four young Tulsans in 1992 during the robbery of a fast food restaurant.
Corey Duane Hamilton is scheduled to die January 9th at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester.
A clemency hearing will be held at 10 AM Wednesday at the Hillside Corrections Center in Oklahoma City. Hamilton has the option of appearing before the board via a video link from the prison, but pardon and parole officials say the killer isn't expected to address the board.
Family members of Hamilton's victims are planning to oppose Hamilton's request for clemency.
Hamilton's attorneys are expected to argue that he didn't get a fair trial and he was not the man who pulled the trigger. Three other men are serving life prison terms for the crimes.
