A nearly three hour stand off ended Saturday after Tulsa County deputies discovered the suspect had escaped out the back door of the home.

Deputies were called to a home in the 900 block of West 6th Street, for a barking dog. When deputies arrived a man in the yard ran inside the home and refused to come out, officials said.

After several hours deputies entered the home, only to find the suspect had escaped.

"In trying to find out why he ran, in running the address, we found out that this guy has, in all likely hood, has a series of warrants out of Kentucky," Captain John Bowman said.

The man is wanted on drug and parole charges, deputies said.
