KENNEDY SPACE CENTER (AP) After two sonic booms, space shuttle Discovery and its seven astronauts landed safely at the Kennedy Space Center.
The early evening landing came after an earlier landing opportunity was scrubbed because of poor weather conditions.
Discovery's 13-day mission including a rewiring of the international space station. Discovery also delivered American astronaut Sunita "Suni" Williams to the orbiting outpost for a six-month stay.
Commander Mark Polansky said "it's going to be a great holiday."
