STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) The Oklahoma State Cowboys could set a school rushing record when they play Alabama in the Independence Bowl.

If quarterback Bobby Reid gains 34 yards rushing OSU will have four players who gain 500 yards rushing for the first time in school history.

Dantrell Savage has 708 yards rushing this year while Keith Toston has 573 and Mike Hamilton has 546.

The Cowboys and Crimson Tide kick off in the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana, at 3:30 next Thursday afternoon.
