A Bristow woman is dead after her car is hit by a semi in Sapulpa Thursday morning.

The accident happened shortly after 7 oâ€™clock Thursday morning on New Sapulpa Road near 69th West Avenue.

According to police, Wendy Champlain was northbound on New Sapulpa Road when an 18-wheeler hit a car that had apparently been involved in another accident. The tractor-trailer crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with Champlainâ€™s car, said police.
