LAS VEGAS (AP) The second bowl game of the long college football postseason takes place tonight in Las Vegas as Oregon faces 19th-ranked Brigham Young in the aptly named, Las Vegas Bowl. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 10-2 while the Ducks are 7-5.
Bronco Mendenhall took over as BYU's coach two years ago when Gary Crowton resigned after three straight losing seasons. Thursday night the two will face off across the field as Crowton is now the Ducks' offensive coordinator.
