CHICAGO (AP) The last cars of an elevated transit train derailed Tuesday, but there was no immediate word of serious injuries, officials said.

The train was heading toward downtown from Midway International Airport when the last two cars derailed, officials said.

Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford told WFLD-TV the cars might have bumped and caused some minor injuries.

CTA spokeswoman Noelle Gaffney said shuttle buses would carry passengers to stops along the affected route.
