NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Tony Crocker scored 18 points to lead four Oklahoma players in double-figures as the Sooners beat Texas-Arlington 89-60 in Norman.
Michael Neal had 17 points, while Longar Longar and Austin Johnson added 16 and 13 points respectively, to help the Sooners (6-3) last night.
Texas-Arlington (3-5) was led by Brandon Long's career-best 22-point performance.
OU trailed early thanks to the first of Long's six 3-pointers, but a Crocker 3-pointer gave the Sooners the lead for good at the 16:13 mark. Johnson then capped a 15-5 run with another 3-pointer that put the Sooners in front 20-10 with just minutes left in the half.
Long connected on consecutive treys, the latter cutting the lead to 23-18 with 9:27 left before intermission. But OU finished the half with a decisive 20-8 run that built the lead to 43-26 at the break.
