ATLANTA (AP) Terrell Owens had a pair of touchdown catches and Marian Barber ran for two scores as the Dallas Cowboys rallied past the Atlanta Falcons 38-28.
Dallas moved closer to clinching a playoff spot by running its record to 9-5.
The loss spoiled record-setting performances by Atlanta's Michael Vick and Morten Anderson. Vick, who tied a career-high with 4 touchdown passes, eclipsed Bobby Douglass' 34-year-old record for most rushing yards in a season by a quarterback. He has 990 yards, breaking Douglass' mark of 968 with the 1972 Chicago Bears.
The 46-year-old Mortensen kicked 4 extra points and became the NFL's all-time leading scorer. He now has 2,437 points for his career, breaking Gary Anderson's mark of 2,434.
The loss dropped Atlanta to 7-7.
Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo finished 22-29 for 278 yards. Vick passed for 237 yards but had a pass picked off by DeMarcus Ware, who ran it back 41 yards for a touchdown.
Dallas scored 17 unanswered points to close the game.
