OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Tulsa native and former Oklahoma basketball coach Billy Tubbs will be inducted into the All-College Hall-of-Fame.

Tubbs will be honored at the annual All-College Dinner next Wednesday and during the All-College Basketball Classic next Thursday.

Tubbs spent 14 years as head coach at OU and led the Sooners to nine NCAA tournaments and to the 1988 championship game.

The All-College Basketball Classic features OU playing Tulsa next Thursday afternoon at 3:30 then 15th-ranked Oklahoma State playing second-ranked Pittsburgh at 6.
