OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The number of people being killed on Oklahoma roadways continues to be lower than last year.

The state Department of Public Safety says the number of traffic fatalities this year is 691 through today. That's down by 63 from the 754 killed in traffic accidents at this point in 2005.

And the number of traffic deaths in November fell by 23 this year -- from 79 in 2005 to 56 this year.
