Students at Garfield Elementary School in Sand Springs hope to break a world record by word of mouth.
Wednesday, the entire 4th grade class joined students across the nation to read a passage of "Charlotte's Web" simultaneously. It's an attempt to break the Guiness world record for the most people reading aloud simultaneously in multiple locations.
The current record was made in 2004 in the United Kingdom.
More than 150,000 students from 737 schools read their way into the record books.
