IRVING, Texas (AP) _ Tony Romo isn't letting his first lousy outing get him down.
The Cowboys quarterback says his performance Sunday against New Orleans was a wake-up call.
Romo was a winner in five of his first six starts and even played well in the lone defeat.
But against the Saints, he completed just 16 of 33 passes for 249 yards and two interceptions.
It was the first time he failed to complete half his attempts. He matched the most interceptions in any of his starts. He also had his second-worst yardage total and his second-worst rating, dropping him from first in the NFL to fourth.
Romo shot down the idea that teams are starting to figure him out.
Coach Bill Parcells says he is hopeful that his young quarterback will bounce back strong.
