OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) State officials announced Tuesday that for the 22nd straight month, state receipts to the general revenue fund topped collections from the same month of the prior year.

State Treasurer Scott Meacham says collections for the month of November totaled $431 million. That figure is 7.5 percent more than the same month last year and 5.4 percent above the estimate.

While Meacham says there was a drop in collections from the gross production tax, collections from income, sales and motor vehicle taxes all were up from the same time last year.

He says the outlook for Oklahoma's economy remains optimistic.
