The Lady'Backs return to the hardwood on Wednesday night. Arkansas has been on a 10-day break for exams, but they'll shake out the cobwebs when they host SMU.

The Lady'Backs (9-1) last win was a 90-40 rout of Texas Southern. SMU's (6-2) latest victory was a lopsided 70-53 win over North Texas.

Arkansas is averaging 76.2 ppg, shooting over 70% from the line, and is holding its opponents to just 58.8 ppg. UA is led by junior post Lauren Ervin, she's averaging 12.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks a game, and is hitting nearly 61% of her shots.

The Mustangs will hit the floor without junior guard Sharee Shepherd or senior forward Katie Gross. Shepherd was suspended for one game for violating team rules, Gross is out for the season with a knee injury.

This is the 25th meeting between the two teams, Arkansas leads the series 20-4, and the Lady'Backs are 8-2 in Fayetteville. The last time SMU defeated Arkansas in Fayetteville was in 1989.

Arkansas faces Southern Methodist University on Wednesday night in Fayetteville, tip off is at 7 p.m.
