NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Going to the Fiesta Bowl is great for Oklahoma but OU quarterback Paul Thompson says it'll be a good memory only with a win.

Thompson says his favorite bowl experience so far is the Sooners' 34-to-14 win over Washington in the 2003 Rose Bowl in which he played late in the game.

That memory is better than the one of playing for the national title in the 2004 Sugar Bowl. Of course OU lost that game 21-to-14 to LSU.

The Sooners take on Boise State in the January 1st Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona.
