A last minute campaign is underway to get Christmas gifts to injured soldiers.

Danna Malone is heading up a drive to get gifts for soldiers at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. There are 200 injured soldiers there. Malone hopes to help as many as she can.

Over the next few days you can drop off gifts. Area Auto Zone and Curves For Women stores are serving as drop-off points.

Danna Malone: "we've been blessed. KRMG jumped on board and they were able to find us donation locations. Drop off centers."

The gifts will be picked up Saturday and will be hand delivered to the hospital in San Antonio on Monday.

Any gifts to help soldiers pass the time in the hospital, like DVD players, movies, CD's or books are especially needed.
