LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Oklahoma native and American Idol winner Carrie Underwood is up for another award.

Underwood is one of five nominees for a Grammy Award as best new artist. The others are Corrine Bailey Rae, Chris Brown, Imogen Heap and James Blunt.

The 49th Grammy Awards are scheduled to air live on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 11th.
