IDABEL, Okla. (AP) -- An Arkansas man has died of injuries he suffered in a head-on collision in Millerton.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Jesus Gutierrez of DeQueen, Arkansas, died at an Idabel hospital after being injured in the crash on US Highway 270 Monday morning.

Troopers say Gutierrez was westbound when an eastbound pickup truck swerved to avoid two cars that had stopped in the roadway to turn. The driver of the pickup then crossed the center line and crashed head-on into Gutierrez's car.
