OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A 15,000-square-foot energy exhibit will be the first step in a plan to revitalize the 50-year-old Omniplex Science Museum, museum officials said Tuesday.
Devon Energy will donate $100,000 to help fund the exhibit, which is to provide scientific information in a multimedia format.
The exhibit will be the largest project undertaken at the museum in 20 years, said Don Otto, executive director of Omniplex.
He said the exhibit is still in the design phase, so it's too early to say what it might look like.
"This exhibit will be the first step in revitalizing this place," he said.
