PHILADELPHIA (AP) Jeff Garcia gets his second start of the season for the Philadelphia Eagles Monday night as they play host to Carolina. Garcia took over for the injured Donovan McNabb last week after McNabb went down with a season-ending injury two weeks ago. Against the Colts last week Garcia was 19 of 23 for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Eagles lost 45-21.
This is a game each team needs to win as the Eagles start the day with a record of 5-6 while the Panthers are 6-5.
Panthers' QB Jake Delhomme is under the gun as some fans in Carolina have been calling for the benching of the veteran for Chris Weinke.
These two clubs met in the NFC title game three years ago with Carolina winning.
