Oklahoma advances to final 16 in NCAA volleyball tournament

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma advances to the final 16 of the NCAA volleyball tournament for only the second time in school history.

OU won its first two tournament matches in Fayetteville, Arkansas, this weekend, beating Oral Roberts and Missouri State in three games apiece.

The Sooners will play UCLA in the next round on Friday at a site to be determined. OU hast made the final 16 of the NCAA tournament only one other time, in 1988.

OU will take a 28-5 record into its match with UCLA, which is 31-3.
