A well-known Stillwater bar that hosted singing greats like George Strait, Willie Nelson and Hank Williams Junior is closing.
The Tumbleweed is considered one of the most popular concert venues in the state.
It will be sold at auction on December 7th, but won't close until after a final concert on December 31st. The owner says he wants to concentrate on other interests.
Garth Brooks worked as a bouncer at the Tumbleweed and got his start as a performer there before becoming a country music superstar.
