Authorities in Haskell County say a human skull found last week is likely from an American Indian burial ground.

The skull was found in rural Haskell County. The state Medical Examiner's office has examined it. It dates to the turn of the 20th century.

Investigators will try to determine what tribe the skull came from, so it can be returned for burial.
