No. 3 Lady Sooners take on Lamar on Wednesday
The #3 Lady Sooners (4-0) will try to keep their record perfect against Lamar on Wednesday. The Sooners are riding an 18-game regular season winning streak. OU’s latest victory was a 77-68 win over #21 UCLA. Oklahoma shot 50.9 percent from the field to UCLA's 38.7 percent.
Lamar is 2-3 this season; the Lady Cardinals are coming off a 59-53 win over LSU-Shreveport.
Lamar will have to keep an eye on the Sooner shooters; OU has four players averaging in double figures, Courtney Paris (22.3), Chelsi Welch (14.5), Ashley Paris (11.5) and Leah Rush (10.5). OU is shooting 50 percent from the floor, 35 percent from 3-point range, and are averaging just over 20 assists a game.
The Sooners and Lady Cardinals tip-off Wednesday at 7 p.m. from the Montagne Center in Beaumont, Texas.
