NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson is not likely to play in Saturday's Big 12 title game against Nebraska.

OU coach Bob Stoops said during a conference call Monday that he'll visit with doctors Monday afternoon to determine whether Peterson will be allowed to play _ but says it's ``unlikely.''

Stoops says Peterson is healing and working out and still trying to get comfortable.

Peterson hasn't played since breaking his collarbone while scoring a touchdown against Iowa State on October 14th.

He gained 935 yards and scored ten touchdowns in six games this season.
