ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) Bills quarterback J.P. Losman is getting accustomed to last-second dramatics.

Losman hit Roscoe Parrish for a 30-yard completion to set up Rian Lindell's 42-yard field goal as time ran out Sunday, lifting Buffalo to a 27-24 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Bills, who never trailed, scored 28 seconds after the Jaguars tied the game when David Garrard hit Matt Jones for a 3-yard touchdown.

Losman, who finished 21-28 for 169 yards, rallied the Bills back. After a 6-yard completion to Parrish, the quarterback stepped up in the pocket and threw to the left sideline for Parrish, who kept both toes in bounds to make the catch just in front of Scott Starks.

Officials ruled Parrish had both feet in and video replays proved inconclusive. After a Losman run, which positioned the ball in the middle of the field, Lindell split the uprights.

It was the second straight week Losman engineered a last-minute, game-winning drive. He hit Peerless Price for a 15-yard touchdown catch with 9 seconds left in Buffalo's 24-21 win at Houston last weekend.

Bills running back Willis McGahee had 63 yards rushing and 2 touchdowns in his first game after missing the past 2 with broken ribs. Parrish also scored on an 82-yard kickoff return.

The Bills (5-6) won consecutive games for the first time since October 2005, and continued to show life after a breakthrough offensive performance last week.

The Jaguars (6-5) dropped to 1-4 on the road, continuing a streak of bewilderingly inconsistent outings after what appeared to be a convincing 26-10 win over the New York Giants last Monday.

The loss hurt all the more, considering Jacksonville had an opportunity to catch Denver and Kansas City, both 7-4, in the AFC wild card hunt.

Buffalo, on the other hand, is showing new life.

McGahee scored on 4 and 30-yard touchdown runs, his first 2-TD game since he scored twice in Buffalo's 2004 season-finale. His 30-yarder, which he capped with a headlong dive to beat defender Gerald Sensabaugh, matched a career high.

Parrish finished with 36 yards receiving, but it was his return that was the early highlight. The score appeared to put the Bills in control, up 24-14 with 4 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee, who missed a 42-yard attempt in the 1st quarter, cut the lead with a 27-yard field goal.

Garrard then gave the Jaguars new life when he capped an 11-play, 62-yard drive with the touchdown pass to Jones. The quarterback made a key, drive-extending play when he converted a 4th & 14 with a gritty 16-yard run, picking up the final 4 yards with two Bills defenders hanging from him.

Garrard finished 16-22 for 132 yards passing and 2 touchdowns. Maurice Drew had 78 yards rushing and a touchdown, while Fred Taylor finished with 101 yards rushing.

The Jaguars were undone by too many mistakes. They committed 10 penalties for 108 yards and their usually stout defense bent easily, uncharacteristic for a unit that entered the game having limited its past four opponents to 3 touchdowns.

It didn't help that the Jaguars were minus starting strong safety Donovin Darius, who broke his leg last week, and starting cornerback Brian Williams (hamstring). With backup cornerback Terry Cousin (groin) also out, rookie Dee Webb was forced to make his first career start.

Webb had difficulty in coverage, burned several times by Lee Evans, including a pass interference penalty that resulted in a 43-yard gain and led to Lindell's 21-yard field goal in the 2nd quarter.
