NEW YORK (AP) Oklahoma jumps five spots into a tie for 8th in the Associated Press college football poll released Sunday.
OU trails Ohio State, Southern California, Michigan, Florida, Louisiana State, Louisville and Wisconsin in the poll.
The 10-2 Sooners are tied with Arkansas at #8. OU is coming off a 27-21 win Saturday over Oklahoma State.
Nebraska, OU's opponent on Saturday in the Big 12 Conference title game, is #19.
Other Big 12 teams in the poll are #17 Texas and #22 Texas A&M.
In the USA Today Coaches' Poll, OU is up four spots to #10.
