The University of Tulsa adds another “W” to the win column, beating Texas-San Antonio 61-57 at the Thanksgiving Classic.

The Roadrunners got off to a quick start, leading by 10 with 10 minutes remaining in the 1st period. TU kicked it into gear cutting the lead to 3 with 8:04 on the clock, and leading by 2 at half time.

The 2nd half belonged to the Hurricane; TU didn’t let go of their lead the rest of the game.

Senior All-America candidate Jillian Robbins pulled down her 49th double-double with 15 points and 10 rebound. Robbins was the Hurricane high scorer; she also nabbed a team best 5 steals.

Next up for TU (3-2) is Florida State on Monday. Tip off is at 6:00 p.m. in Tallahassee.
