Firefighters Discover Body At Scene Of A Rural Ottawa County Fire

Authorities say foul play is suspected after the discovery of body in a vehicle early Tuesday morning in rural Ottawa County.

Ottawa County Sheriff Terry Durborow says firefighters responding to a trailer fire at a rural residence near Wyandotte found the unidentified body inside a burning vehicle. The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner is attempting to ID the body.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office is working with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the state Fire Marshal’s Office to determine the manner of death and possible suspect(s) in the case.
