A former Haskell mayor is expected in court Friday to face charges for an October 4th accident that killed a Coweta chiropractor.

Coweta Police say Charley Smith [pictured] of Haskell was driving drunk when he pulled out in front of a semi on state highway 72. That semi swerved into on-coming traffic, hitting Dr. Shawn Lee's truck head-on.

Charley Smith is charged with first degree manslaughter.
