OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma's 100th birthday will be a state holiday.

Governor Brad Henry Thursday signed an executive order declaring the 100th anniversary of Oklahoma statehood on November 16th, 2007, be an official state holiday.

Centennial activities and events are already getting under way with the official kickoff which started on Thursday.
