State revenues last month exceeded last year's tax collections once again. That's 21 straight months we've seen an upswing.

General revenue fund collections last month totaled more than $474-million. That's up nearly $47-million from October 2005. Individual and corporate income tax returns totaled more than $209-million.

State sales taxes produced $124-million for the month.
