A Tulsa firefighter is recovering after an accident Friday night.

He was fighting a fire near 200 S. Troost when he fell through the floor, officials said.

The nearly eight foot fall sent that firefighter to the hospital. Authorities tell us the firefighter suffered only minor injuries. He is expected to be okay.

No one was living in the house that caught fire, said fire officials. The home was destroyed. A cause is under investigation.
