NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma's defensive backs say they're fired up to be playing pass happy Texas Tech this week.

Nic Harris only plays in passing situations as the Sooners' fifth defensive back and says he loves the chance to get on the playing field and face the Red Raiders.

OU is expected to have five or six defensive backs on the field for each play, similar to the way the Sooners defended Missouri. A major difference is Missouri's quarterback is a threat to run with the ball while Tech's Graham Harrell won't be looking to run very often.

But Harrell has thrown for 1,370 yards in the past three games and nearly led Tech to an upset over Texas and Harris says the key to stopping Harrell is on the practice field. He says learning the receivers routes and how to stop them comes during the week, then the game is the easy part.

Kickoff is at 6 pm in Norman.
