A close call for two women involved in an overnight traffic accident.

Tulsa Police say the women were southbound in the 4500 block of 145th East Avenue at around midnight when the driver swerved to avoid a deer. She ran off the road and hit a tree.

Both women got out before the car caught fire.

They suffered minor injuries.
