TULSA, Okla. (AP) Tulsa football coach Steve Kragthorpe says the Golden Hurricane are putting Saturday's loss to Houston behind them and focusing only on Rice.
The Cougars took control of the Conference USA West Division with the 27-10 win over T-U. Houston will have to lose to either SMU or Memphis and Tulsa must win out to return to the conference title game.
The Hurricane are now 7-2 overall and 4-1 in league play.
But Kragthorpe says the only thing he's looking at now is preparing for a Rice team that's won 3 straight and 4 of the last 5 to improve to 4-5 overall and 3-2 in CUSA.
The Owls are coached by former TU defensive coordinator Todd Graham.
Kickoff for Saturday's game at Skelly Stadium is set for 2 pm.
