TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Tulsa football coach Steve Kragthorpe says he is not interested in the head coaching job at North Carolina.

Kragthorpe has been mentioned as a candidate to succeed Tar Heels coach John Bunting who is being fired at the end of the season.

But at the end of his weekly press conference Kragthorpe announced he isn't interested in moving to UNC.

He says his family loves living in Tulsa and says he wants to be the head coach of the Golden Hurricane.

TU plays at Houston Saturday afternoon with kickoff set for 2:30.
