Union 6th and 7th graders in Tulsa released hundreds of balloons Tuesday in honor of Red Ribbon Week.

The goal of Red Ribbon Week is to raise awareness about illegal drug use and to encourage everyone to make the right choices.

Red Ribbon Week was started after a DEA agent was killed by drug runners in 1985.
