The area known as the Red Fork is taking on a new identity in west Tulsa.
Organizers with the Red Fork Main Street Project unveiled its new logo Friday. The logo symbolizes the project's vision to revitalize the birthplace of Tulsa, from Tulsa Regional Medical Center to West 48th Street.
President of Red Fork Main Street Project, Don Engle: "We want to try to redevelop the area and come up with some great things to preserve some of the history. Make the things really come together and start working on rehabilitating the neighborhoods and making this a showplace in Tulsa."
Tulsans could start seeing signs of change as early as this spring.
