An Owasso land dispute may be headed back to the bargaining table.

Owasso city councilors have unanimously voted to give city manager Rodney Ray authority to negotiate for the purchase of Ator Field.

The Owasso Public School District lost the field after the Oklahoma Supreme Court awarded it to the heirs of the Ator estate.

Owasso had played football on the field for half-a-century.
