INDIAHOMA, Okla. (AP) -- A 14-year-old Indiahoma girl who was caught with a "hit list" of students has told investigators she was trying to get those on the list to leave her alone.
The list was confiscated by a teacher and had the names of four boys on it.
Comanche County Sheriff Kenny Stradley says the girl told him she thought students who had made cruel comments would leave her alone if she made the list.
Stradley says he's convinced no one is in danger but criminal charges are still possible.
Indiahoma Superintendent Deanna Voegeli says she can't discuss the discipline of a student but says the girl has been disciplined.
